301. The authors, both college professors, were in Moscow when Gorbachev's perestroika and other liberalizing policies reached a crescendo. They were drawn into the midst of the momentous change and provide an inside glimpse at Soviet life and the key players. Here is the remarkable story of how two Americans found themselves in the center of Gorbachev's Soviet revolution--a time as important, they believe, as John Reed's ten days that shook the world.
