Dark green cloth with cover titles in gilt; 8vo; 65pp; green end sheets; illustrated with frontispiece print, title-page vignette in orange, 19 plates of b/w photos and reproductions after paintings, two-page color topographic map at rear; one of two hundred copies printed exclusively for private distribution. "Including 12 pages of text on fishing for smallmouth bass, lake trout, and land locked salmon. One of the few early works to contain as much material on fishing in Lake George. An important and rare work." (Heller #716) Bruns: S-27; Plum #568 This copy in very good condition with minor cover wear at tips, short marginal tears to 2 pages, not affecting text, otherwise, internally clean with map bright. Contains the Bixby bookplate of their Mohican Point residence affixed to the front pastedown and bears an initialed inscription on the front free endpaper.
