First edition, first printing 1955. Hardback book is clean and square. Boards have softened corners. The spine is bumped to head and foot, and the gilt titles are dulled. There are pressure marks to the spine and both boards. There is also a crease to the lower board. The text block clean, with light toning to edges. The pages are clean. Feels tight and gently read. Good condition. Sadly no jacket. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. A solid well bound reader copy of this classic SF title, a very scarce volume, and good enough to make a nice filler until the right copy comes along. Seller Inventory # 007247
