Later full green levant morocco, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, by Riviere. Hinges scuffed, spine lightly worn and faded to brown, else near fine. The second collected edition of Freneau's writings, and the only edition published during the author's lifetime to contain prose as well as verse. The volume consists of essays and poems written largely since the publication of the first collected edition in 1786.
