Filled with 24 full color, full page tipped-in plates reproduced from the original miniatures. Published on the occasion of the opening of the new Islamic Galleries at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Essay by Priscilla P. Soucek. Foreword by Richard Ettinghausen.

I have a small bookstore that's available to browse by appointment only. We're in Bar Harbor, on the coast of Maine and many of our books come from estate sales in the region. Check, money order, or credit card--Mastercard, Visa, or American Express. Personal checks must clear before shipping. All domestic orders will be sent Media Mail unless requested otherwise at additional cost. Postage for foreign orders will be determined and quoted to customer. Connecticut residents add 6.35 % sales tax. Items are returnable within 7 days of receipt with proper notification. We will be pleased to hold any item for 3 to 4 days. Shipping Terms: Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
