The original catalogue for Natascha Sadr Haghighian's piece in the M.I.T. List Visual Arts Center exhibition, "Sensorium: Embodied Experience, Technology, and Contemporary Art, Part II," held February 8 - April 8, 2007. The show featured works by five contemporary artists exploring the complex relationships between technology, sense perception, and human subjectivity. Haghighian's work was a microscope with the eyepiece replaced by a headphone speaker playing a vocoder version of the song Every Breath You Take, presented alongside a take-away publication of a conversation between the artist and Evelyn Fox-Keller, professor of History and Philosophy of Science at MIT. The conversation explores the construction of reality based on what one sees with the mind's eye. This is that publication. First edition. Staple-bound stiff wraps; 32 pages; 5.5 x 8.25 inches.
