Printed at the Chiswick Press for the author. These books were given away to her friends. They contain Christian messages/verses for each day of the year. This copy was for her husband and bears an affectionate inscription on the front free endpaper. The Hoffs were wealthy Americans, resident in Paris, and Grace was a noted philanthropist. Original roan binding gilt lettered. A good copy, rear joint cracked but secure, rubbed along joints and extremities. Not paginated - c 400 pages. Approx. size 6" by 5". Quantity Available: 1.
