Scarce compendium of parlor games; not explained, but evocatively described by a simple verse and illustrated with delightful two-color lithographs in black & old rose (dark pink); versos blank. Hardcover, full color litho covers, gold-hued cloth spine. Worn, corners & edges rubbed & frayed; torn along spine both in and out, hinges weak; small damaged patch on front cover, rear cover scratched & scuffed; a few pages lightly smudged; pencil drawings,mostly erased, inside rear cover. Text & illustrations clean; 14 printed pages, including the title page and tailpiece (a fairy ring).
