Venezuelan-born, Nogales was educated in Europe and found his talents lay with adventure & warfare worldwide; here he recounts days as a gold-digger in Alaska, cowboy in Arizona, soldier in Mexico, Venezuela, Armenia & elsewhere, much else. Hardcover in jacket: a late variant binding, with Garden City's imprint on their tan cloth, but of Harrison Smith sheets, with the Smith jacket, as pictured. Light wear to book, corners bumped; jacket rubbed & chipped, creased & torn; ink name & date on free endsheet. Text clean; xvi, [4], 380 pages, 3 b/w plates, as called for. Size: Large Octavo.
