Hardcover in Very Good-plus condition in a very good dust jacket, 4to, pages: [x],152. Green cloth with spine titles in gold, color frontis, black-and-white illustrations, glossary, index. Light wear, very small crack in rear joint near the top, very light soiling, prior owner gift inscription and date (Christmas 1972) on front end-paper, price clipped dj with some wrinkling of laminate on back dj panel. From a 2005 review by Psyche, editor of 'Spiral Nature', "Despite some of its shortcomings, this is one of the better books I?ve read that aims to self-teach beginners, and I would recommend this, along with a few others, as a useful book for the beginner?s tarot shelf, especially those using the Rider-Wait-Smith deck.".
