315 Pages. First printing of the First Harvest Edition in 1978. Very minor cover edge wear and lightly upturned corners. The first few pages are a little wavy from might have been some very light moisture exposure since the pages are without stains and bright white. An unusually personal and wide-ranging collection of essays addressed to some of the major cultural developments of the 1960s and early 1970s. It is a period that began with the violent end of President Kennedy's New Frontier and that saw a new generation exploring radical forms of self-expression: the drug culture, civil disobedience, sexual liberation.
