True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (18s). Illustrated by Janet and Anne Grahame-Johnstone. Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a few very small (approx. 5mms) tears, very small patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), a little creasing/rubbing to edges, minor fading to spine, a few very small marks, one larger mark to front, little patchy browning/few spots of foxing to reverse (white side), a little creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps, a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and to corners and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages are a little tanned. Odd small mark/mild foxing to top edge of pages. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults.
