Add to basket(London:Sockl & Nathan undated). First UK Edition. Likely to have been published in late Victorian or Edwardian times. In Google the date is described as 18?? Hardback with paper-covered boards with colour illustrations to front and back board. Brown cloth spine. 10 pages. Beautifully illustrated. The artist is un-credited but could well be W H S Thompson based on his work on other titles by this author. A VG copy (front hinge a little tender) but which is in rather better condition (it appears) than the copy mentioned in the article by Withnail Books: where the writer of the article postulates: "Is this the only remaining copy of this book in the whole world?" Clearly the answer is "no". A rare children's book and beautifully illustrated. Photographs/scans available upon request.
