1958. First Edition. 273 pages. Purple and blue jacket over blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are noticeably tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Mild cracking to front hinge. Binding is firm. Previous owner's inscription in pen to front free endpaper. Faint brown marks to some pages. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with mild corner bumping and crushing to ends. Spine is slightly sunned. Gilt remains bright. Book has a slight forward lean. Clipped jacket. Heavy tanning and foxing to all surfaces. Moderate edgewear, with noticeable chipping, tearing and creasing, with moderate loss to spine ends. Visible water staining to rear panel and insides. Seller Inventory # 1674568955MEP
