The pages have no creases, writing or underlining. The jacket has a touch of shelf-wear but looks very good. The binding is straight and strong. I doubt the book has been read more than once, if at all. A nice copy. Out of print. Peter Collingwood analyzes how raw, thread-like materials are interlaced, looped, and knotted to become functional, resilient, three-dimensional forms. The book features detailed teardowns of over 90 everyday, historical, and ethnographic objects, including baskets, brushes, utensils, bead belts, tapestries, mats, shoes, and bags from around the world. The 160 pages contain 64 color photographs, 48 black-and-white photographs, and 165 structural diagrams. No projects. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
