Contains the following 17 issues of the boys weekly periodical: #'s 1276, 1323, 1324, 1326, 1327, 1329, 1331, 1332, 1333 (laid in), 1334, 1335, 1336, 1337, 1338, 1339, 1340, 1348 (Xmas number). All issues are dated 1933 (except one, issue #1276, which is dated 1932). All front covers are bound in. Covers printed in blue & orange, as issued. Numerous b&w illustrations and period advertisements throughout. Nicely bound in sturdy brown buckram with gilt-lettered leather label to spine: "The Magnet - Frank Richards - 1933". Slight handling wear, mild marginal toning, tape repair to the outer margin of one page, some inner margin tape-repairs & ghostings, former owner's small ink stamp to ffep, issue 1337 with two small holes punched to inner margin with minimal text loss, otherwise a very nice clean tight solid hardcover copy.
