An innovative and interactive children's book, text block and boards are strung together through the center with a single cord of brown string. The Stringum family embarks on a series of colorful adventures, with each illustration incorporating the piece of string: as a tightrope at the circus, a ringmaster's whip, a clothesline at the beach, a fireman's hose, etc. String holes repaired by previous owner with circular reinforcement labels. Tearing to several leaves from pulling, partially affecting text, some mended. Binding shaken, boards lightly bowed. Soiling and shelfwear to boards.
