Nine case studies are used to present different aspects of the same design problem which illustrate concepts behind different design problems while computer software is integrated throughout the text to facilitate parametric studies and give the students a more realistic design experience. TK Solver is the equation solver used in the software and all examples and case studies are included on the software.
