2 comics specially produced for the Boys and Youth Outfitter in Macclesfield. H. S. Hodgson. probably about 1948-1950. The comics contain children's crime, secret passwords and cryptic messages, strip cartoons and illustrated detection adventure stories. They are both in excellent condition and are VERY SCARCE One is Number 4 Volume and the other is No 7 of volume 5. No other for sale anywhere at this time of listing. (TWO items).

We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
