Sewn unbound signatures with the trial dust jacket present but now loose, having been glued to the spine. The verso of the rear jacket flap states: 'PROOF ONLY / FOR PUBLICATION ON / 26 APR 1973 / ANDR[E DEUTSCH LT]D. / FINISHED [?] / WILL BE LAM[INATE]D.' De Bellis & Broomfield A44 [B]. Faint ownership stamp on the jacket's upper front cover, jacket lightly creased and soiled, else a very good copy of an uncommon issue. Housed in a custom-made slipcase.
