With 17 photographic plates (all present) , original red cloth has some discolouration mainly to the rear board and some red colour has bleed on to top edge of rear endpaper, title in black on spine, internally the book is clean. This memoir covers the period from 13 January to 23 October 1915 when the author was with the 1st Battalion the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) then part of 7th Brigade, 3rd Division. The whole nine months were spent in the Salient - Kemmel, Hooge, Sanctuary Wood, St Eloi. ; 220 x 140mm; 224 pages. Seller Inventory # 17212
