Review
The author says this is a book to be dipped into, I could hardly put it down. It is not a guidebook in the sense of giving detailed route descriptions. -- Bob Allen, The Alpine Journal
The photographs are a worthy accompliment to the text. McLewin emphasises the importance of harmony with surroundings as the key to mountaineering success. -- David Rose, The Observer
The writing style, photographs and layout are clear and interesting. Like climbing the 4,000 feet peaks, the accounts of the ascents are full of ups and downs. -- Roger Payne, High Magazine
