Paperback. Featuring muggers, killers, thieves, rapists, derelicts - and a few innocents. What happens in prisons when hardened criminals share cells with young toughs? When drug addicts and homosexuals are coupled with traffic violators? In these 10 explosive aspects of prison life, you will become acquainted with the shadowy, violent world of men behind bars. You will meet stoolies, who are hated by cops and cons alike; sex perverts, who may corrupt their fellow-prisoners; killers, who will murder in cold blood - even if their escape attempt is hopeless. You will hear the howls of homicidal lunatics, the furtive noises that suggest homosexual activity, the roars of caged animals. You will see the hopeless looks of men sentenced to 99yrs, the dreary lines of gray men lined up for meals, the solitary cells where condemned men await the executioner's step. 159pp. mass market p/back. From the library of true crime writer, Wilfred Gregg, with his personal b/plate. Browned pp. o/w Nr. Vg.
