BRAND NEW & COLLECTIBLE. 53 year-old Kiowa Native American Daha-hen's (literally Man Without Medicine in Kiowa) has had his herd of horses run off by white men. In pursuit of the theives, he is accompanied by Thomas Young Man, also a Kiowa but raised by missionaries. The protagonists, the former who believes that one both lives and dies as a warrior, and the latter who subcribes to the white man's credo of cheating death at every opportunity makes this a fascinating coming-of-age tale.
