About this Item
Considered a milestone children's book. Wonderfully vibrant colouring to hand-applied pochoir illustrations throughout, all pages clean. 54 plate pages including front and rear pastedowns. Covers also illustrated. Front has come loose from the binding, 3/4 length split to upper joint. Top and bottom ends of unprinted spine lost. Extremities rubbed and worn particularly to lower fore-edge of front cover, with some small nicks to covers, minor stain to rear cover at fore-edge. Internally VG+, externally, good.
