Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Dawson, Lucy (illustrator). 1st Edition. Very good to inside with no inscriptions. All pages are faithfully and beautifully drawn sketches of dogs, With Fifteen Dog Studies in Colour. The frontispiece is of Doukie, one of the Queen Elizabeth 11 corgis; Dawson was commissioned many times by the Royal Family. The boards are faded. The dust jacket is not price clipped and has wear, tares and bits missing to corners, top and bottom of spine and top front and back edge. A photograph would best show these defects and can be sent on request. Broadleaf Books is a second hand independent bookshop in Abergavenny, South Wales. Enquiries and visits are welcome. tl.
