First Edition (1978), so stated. Very Good+ to Near Fine in Wraps: shows indications of careful use: light wear to the extremities, with some faint scuffing to the head of the backstrip, which shows the faintest crease and very light sunning to the red and orange background field (the white titles are unaffected, remaining bold and clearly legible); a sparse, faint smudging at the outside edges of the text block; else only the very mildest rubbing to the wrapper covers; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome, nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tighly bound, showing very mild wear and a couple of very minor flaws. Very close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 4to.
