Published to accompany an exhibition that ran November 22, 1992 through March 14, 1993 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and then traveled four other locations for additional dates. Features a foreword by Kevin E. Consey and text by Beryl J. Wright and Saidiya V. Hartman. Includes numerous color and black and white images along with a checklist, artist chronology, and selected bibliography. A clean near fine copy in wrappers with some very minor wear. Internally a clean copy.
