First publication of Conrad's fourth novel, serialized over 16 issues of Blackwood's Magazine, July 1899-November 1900, with publication in book form not until October 1900. Bound in three volumes, together with other fiction and non-fiction by John Buchan, Andrew Lang and others. Bindings are rather rubbed and scuffed with some separation along the bottom of the spine of the last volume, otherwise very sound. Internally, some foxing and spotting to the preliminaries, small mark to the page opposite the intro to Lord Jim, otherwise generally very tight and clean. A heavy set, which will incur additional postage chare, so please do contact us directly for more information or postage costs.
