The London Magazine was published monthly & was founded in 1732 as political opposition to the Tory 'Gentleman Magazine'. It ceased publication in 1785, (but restarted in the 1820s). 46 pp. A fascinating read. Articles also include the regular The Monthly Chronologer, Impartial Review of New Publications, Debates of a Political Club, Poetical Essays. This issue has been disbound from a compilation and is in nice clean condition. There would have been 2 plates originally, the other is missing. HALF PRICE P&P on this item. Seller Inventory # 005631
