Includes the December, 1944, and the March, 1945, issues.Edgeworn and chipped; heavier wear along spine of '44 issue; loss/chewing to top front corner of '45 issue throughout, though text and images only very slightly affected. Bindings holding. Overall still Very Good. Unrecorded shipboard publication of the U.S.S. Pennsylvania BB-38, which was drydocked in Pearl Harbor the day of the Japanese attack in 1941, avoiding significant damage.The ship spent the rest of World War II conducting operations in the Pacific Theater. Articles and features here touch upon themilitary operations aroundthe Philippines, WWII divisional news, sports (mostly basketball and baseball), a history of the U.S.S.
