Book has a very slight forward lean but is firmly bound. Book contents are near fine. The jacket has a little edge wear and closed tears. Still a fascinating account of the journal kept by Captain Philip Saumarez (1710-1747) on board the flagship CENTURION between 1740 and 1744. The treasure captured during this expedition produced the largest amount of prize money in naval history.
