True first edition of Emma Goldman's autobiography. 2 volumes, each a first printing published in 1931. No markings in either volume, all hinges are tight. The cloth covers have some fading, light soiling and rubbing to the boards at the the tips and the bottom edges. Each volume has a portrait frontispiece with an additional 5 plates in volume 1 and 6 plates in volume 2, for a total of 13 plates. Given the age and size of the volumes, a surprisingly nice set. Lacking dust jackets. The second edition, issued in one volume, wasn't published until 1934. This 1931 true first edition is Rare. Seller Inventory # 002605
