March is well known for his horror novel,The Bad Seed,and his WWI novel,Company K.His short stories were often compared to those of literary giants of the time such as Faulkner, but many fall into the genre of psychological horror along with his best known works. Quite uncommon in a nice jacket. 8vo, 313pp. Publisher's green cloth stamped in gilt in illustrated jacket. A nearly fine copy with some toning to edges of boards, former owner's assessment of a few stories in light pencil on table of contents.
