Item description from seller

See photos for condition details. Hardcover, paper covered boards decorated on front and rear. The exterior is the main reason for the low condition grade as the spine is heavily chipped with about 50% missing, corners are worn and rounded, boards also show scuffing and soiling. The interior does show this was a well-loved book. The pages are toned and there are some of marks present on numerous pages, including the title page. The only handwriting found in the book is in the upper left corner of the front end page which has a very light pencil writing with the date 1919, which can easily be erased if desired. There is also a few small stains on this page as seen in the photos. One of the un-numbered pages (unpaginated), the last page of The Way to Fairyland has a crease near the bottom center, which feels more like a weak spot in the paper itself caused by the rollers of the printer. The last page of The Singing Thread has a 1 inch tear right at the upper insight corner. The most common issue with the insight pages are the smudge marks. First edition thus with the single date of 1919 appearing on the copyright page and no additional printings listed.…
