First UK Edition. Publisher's green cloth stamped in gilt to the spine. The front board has a ruled border stamped in blind. A near fine copy with slightly pushing at the head and tail of the spine, miniscule bumping to nthe extremities and just a hint of foxing to the top edge. In the VERY RARE VG+ D/W priced 7/6 net to spine (as called for). Minor creasing and just a touch of loss at the spine tips and extremities and the spine is just a shade darkened. The front panel is mildly creased at the top and bottom edges. All-in-All a lovely collector's copy of a book seldom encountered in a D/W and genuinely uncommon in this attractive condition.
