Item description from seller

Dispatch usually within 72 hours. I normally post Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Postage assumes a book weighing up to a kilogram. If postage is beyond that, we will contact you and discuss. NOTE THAT THERE ARE SEPARATE POSTAGE RATES FOR EUROPE, INCLUDING REPUBLIC OF IRELAND. 188 pages. Illustrated with groups of black and white dotted through the book in the way which was common in the 1950s and 1960s. In very good condition for a book, some 70 years old. The pages are tight, unmarked and pure white - no sign of yellowing. The black and white frontispiece (Pat Whitehouse's famous shot of the cattle special on the Lispole Viaduct on the Tralee and Dingle Railway) is partly adrift, but still secure. It has a Foyles, Charing Cross Road sticker, so that's where it was bought! See photograph of contents page, which simply tells you that all four countries of these islands are covered.

Store description

Specialising in mainly Irish transport books. This is an amateur fund-raising vehicle with all proceeds going to Irish railway groups preserving and running rolling stock and maintaining archives of Irish transport history. We have been selling at events in the South of England for over fifty years, but the age of our group brought that to an end and we are moving on-line.
