First American edition. Octavo. 515pp. Illustrated. Light foxing and age-toning on endpapers and illustrated pages, spine lettering is completely faded, else a very good copy being scholar Ruth Z. Temple's copy with her ink signature on front flyleaf, with pen marginalia on a couple of pages in a good only worn dust jacket, being a bit soiled, tanned on spine, with a few small chips and short creased tears. Contains excerpts of numerous George Moore letters, reproduces photographs of G. Moore, etc. Contains numerous references to J.B. and W.B. Yeats.
