First thus edition hard back binding in publisher's original crimson cloth covers, gilt title and author lettering to the spine, untrimmed edges. Quarto 10'' x 8''. Contains 126 printed pages of text with coloured plates throughout. Sun faded spine and cover top edges, foxing to the closed page edges and some margins and in Very Good clean condition, no dust wrapper. Loosely inserted publishers leaflet, one page John Peel article and various illustrations. Member of the P.B.F.A. HUNTS & GAME SHOOTING.
