The silver gilt titles and emblem on the front board and spine are bright. The hinges and the spine are very good. Map and picture on the endpapers. The inside pages are bright and unmarked. The story of the Great Western Quicksilver Mine in Southern Lake County in California. The author's father was the mine superintendent from Sept. 12, 1876 to May 1, 1900.
