Item description from seller

Unpaginated 32pp. VG/G. Brown cloth covered boards with gilt lettering on spine. Printed on cream paper with brown lettering and with grey end papers. Spanish text with English translation on each page. Front and rear reproduced sepia photographs by Hans Ehrmann on heavy-weight art paper (incl portrait of the author which can be seen through the front cover cut-out). Light spotting to top page edges and two spots to rfep. Light spotting also to top edge of limitation page. This hard-backed edition is not signed and not numbered and (according to the sleeve notes) was produced for Library use. However, this book is not an ex-library book. It was obtained from the personal collection of Olwyn Hughes (1928-2016), sister and literary agent of poet laureate Ted Hughes. The dusty white dust jacket is unclipped (price 21s) and features a b/w copy of the photograph of the author that appears inside the book. Some spotting on front and rear of the dj. Shelf wear to top edge. Single small horizontal tear to rear flap. The publishers have included a printed inscription on the back of the rear end paper in black ink and have copied this facsimile text on the rear panel of the dust jacket in gilt. "I am arriving in London on 1st or 2nd July invited by Ted Hughes. Will be 10 days. Hope to see you every one of them. Always, Pablo".…

Store description

The Bookshop at Beech Cottage trades exclusively via the internet. I acquire most of my stock through a network of suppliers based in southern England. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise. Happy reading!…
