Warrington: W. Eyres, for the Author, 1789. First edition. Volume II only of this guide-book for the personal development of young ladies, written in the form of letters. Full calf, red spine label, gilt gilt decorated spine, 271 pages plus one page advertisement. Front cover and front free endpaper detached, some edgewear to the covers and chipping to the spine, text block sound with no loosened pages, pages quite clean with a minimum of foxing, mainly confined to the first and last few pages. Internally very good. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
