FIRST PRINTING. The history of Cessna Aircraft from 1911-1998. Hundreds of illustrations. Some rare, never-before-seen photos. 255 pages. "When Clyde Cessna flew his beloved 'Silver Wings' for the first time in 1911, flight was just a novelty. Hundreds of people attended air shows to watch Clyde do little more than fly overhead and hope for a smooth landing. To people who had never seen an airjplane, it was well worth the 50 cents of admission. In less than 90 years, rapid advances in flight fundamentally changed the way we live, work and wage war, and the Cessna Aircraft Company has helped pioneer the way." 5 page Forward by Arnold Palmer. "Discover the remarkable people and events that have helped shape "The Legend of Cessna." A CESSNA OWNER/AFFICIONADO MUST! LRD.
