Black cloth with gilt lettering. Previous owner stamp to front endpaper, text is otherwise clean and white, no marks, appears unread. Unclipped dust jacket shows mild edgewear and light scuffing. "By 1979, Rhodesia posed for the British, in its most acute form, the problem of responsibility without real power. The odds at the outset had seemed overwhemingly against obtaining a comprehesive agreement. This book is the story of why an issue which seemed to have assumed its own subjection to fate yielded to this one last effort. Those who brought about or helped to shape the final result tell it in their own words.".
