Original red embossed decorated cloth with gilt titles on the cover and spine. 323 very clean and bright slightly age-tone pages. Boards are aged, rubbed, part stained and faded with time and bumped on the corners and spine tips consistent with age but remain firm and intact. Usual toning and age appreciation should be expected. A very rare first edition. The first edition serves as a historic legal treatise detailing Irish land tenure, property management, and the distinct legal relations between landlords and tenants before major land reforms.
