His book on Labrador is considered one of the most comprehensive on the area and includes chapters on Cabot, Cartwright, Grenfell, the Moravians and cartography. thick8vo, 22cm, The First Edition, xii,574p., with 38 plates and maps from photographs, (inc. large folding colour map), extensive index, original blue fine grain book linen, gilt spine and cover titles, t.e.g., cancelled library bookplate on the front paste down endpapers, call label removed on the foot of the spine, very good to fine copy of the scarce first printing.
