(1928). 1 sheet with technical data and 15 mounted plates based on original photographs, loose in a heavy cardboard folder. Condition Very Good, photos all present in nice condition, folder sturdy and sound, one inch tear in flexible cloth binding and minimal wear on corners. Translation of cover: "15 pictures of the construction of the airship based on original photographs published by Luftschiffbau Zeppelin G.M.B.H. Friedrichshafen a.B." (Deutsches Luftschiff Zeppelin 127) was a German passenger-carrying hydrogen-filled rigid airship that flew from 1928 to 1937. It offered the first commercial transatlantic passenger flight service. The ship was named after the German airship pioneer Ferdinand von Zeppelin, a count (Graf) in the German nobility. It was conceived and operated by Hugo Eckener, the chairman of Luftschiffbau Zeppelin. Includes portraits of Count Zeppelin, Dr. Eckener and Dr Durr director of the shipyard.
