Small, vertical octavo (22 x 12 cms.); green cloth boards with curved corners, gilt titles in small cartouche to front top. Extensively rubbed and stained. 10pp prelims (unpaginated), 40pp, illus.of 'Ornamental' alphabets and examples of their use , as well as a page of 'North Points',2 pages of 'Corners', one page demonstrating 'Methods of Shewing Rock Structures' and finally a page of 'Methods of Shewing Trees, Etc.' Pastedowns both carry adverts for 'The London Drawing & Tracing Office.Manager:John B Thorp'. To ffep: small copperplate name in ink: Norman Fisher. Leeds. The text block itself is still fairly securely bound, but literally hanging on by a thread to the boards. Pages still clean, with no other marks or inscriptions.
