this was a library book but when I worked loose the original old protector all the library labels and marks came off with it. BEAUTIFUL dust jacket is Very Good, unclipped flaps, some tape shdows on flaps, NOT some sun fading to spine but looks great in its new Brod dart protector. the book itself has some library marks and a little pocket remnant as shown in scans. The hinges are solid and there are NO marks or tears to the text, a few tone spots and straightened dog ears. There is a library name stamp on top outer page edges. This is my own favorite early McMurtry (was made into a mediocre film with Tony Perkins) and I plan to read it again. Any questions welcome. Seller Inventory # ABE-1716832381934
