With a frontispiece, a title page decoration, four full-page plates, and forty-seven illustrations as hear and tail pieces, and in the text. Free endpapers spotted, with a touch of further spotting to the half-title. Contemporary former owner name and date to the base of the front free endpaper. A very good copy in lightly toned and soiled non-price-clipped dust wrapper, with several small fractions of loss from the spine ends and corner tips. Endpapers are foxed and partially browned. Heavy foxing to top edge of textblock, affecting the margins ever so slightly.
